Aim of the Software

With Avatartool you can create appealing Avatar images, as are used by the Crustaforum-Team.
You don't need any knowlege about pattern processing and no additional pattern processing software.
With Avatartool you can downlad free backgroundimages from the online archive.

Instruction manual

1. Online help/FAQ.
2. Avatar in original size and 200% zoom.
3. Menue for designing your Portrait.
4. Menue for designing the background image.
5. With this button you can load an image from your harddrive into the work area.
6. With this button you can load an image from the online archive into the work area. The download is of course for free and you are allowed to use the images that are offered in the archive.
7. Here you can rotate and mirror the image in the work area.
8. This Box is the selection area. Its content results in the background image of the Avatar. With the cursor you can drag and drop the box to an other area.
9. Here you can resize the selection area.
10. The text from this edit field will be displayed under your portrait.
11. Here you can choose between the german version for garnelenforum.de and the english version for crustaforum.com.
12. Here you can set the transparency of the frame that surrounds the portrait.
13. Here you can set the brightness of the portrait
14. Here you can set the transparency of the frame that surrounds the background image.

16. With this Button you can save your Avatar image.

FAQ

• Is it normal, that the Tool needs so long for loading images?
  The bigger the Image is that you are loading, the longer it takes. JPEGs do also have to be decoded before they are displayed.
