"Zansho omomai". Both are kind of greeting letters for taking care of friend if he/she is tired from the hot atmosphere. "omimai" is taking care of others in most case, of those who suffers from diseases, injury, etc. We write "Shochuu omimai" earlier, for the term "Shochuu" in other word, Summer on the calender ends at early August, for this year, it ended at 6 Aug. After then we write "Zansho omimai", for we think the high temperature of that season is the remainder of the summer. "Zansho" means the rest heat of summer, it is used only in greeting words, like, "Zansho ga tsuzukimasuga,." It is still hot today, but .. |
