My Master`s Thesis (PDF, 795 kB, german)
The thesis describes the application of implicit active contours for vessel segmentation in CT slice datasets. The title is "Segmentierung des Gefäßbaumes in Computertomografie-Datensätzen des menschlichen Hals- und Kopfbereichs mittels impliziter aktiver Konturen". In particular the description of the very efficient Sparse Field Levelset method, that I used for contour refinement, might be interesting. We also did an english paper with further evaluation results.

The Sparse Field Levelset implementation for vessel extraction (ZIP archive, 1.8 MB)
This is the source code of my Sparse Field levelset implementation. It also contains the Fast Marching algorithm for contour preapproximation. I have not touched this since thesis submission but source comments should be sufficient. Inside the ZIP you will find everything including required libraries and an ANT build script.

My diploma thesis (PDF, 517 kB, german)
The title is "Analyse und Implementation des Boyer-Myrvold Algorithmus zur Einbettung planarer Graphen". There is one mistake I am aware off: two edges are missing in the picture showing the K3,3 graph! A short english version describing mainly the implementation can be found here (PDF, 60 kB).

Java implementation of the Boyer-Myrvold planar embedding algorithm (ZIP Archive, 21kb)
This implementation of the linear time planar test and embedding algorithm from John Boyer and Wendy Myrvold was part of my diploma thesis. You will not be able to directly compile this source package as the required parts of the VinetS Framework are not included.
