The basic WTT-Rules:
- The team which accumulates the most games after 5 events plus Overtime, if any, and Supertiebreaker, if necessary, is the winner.
- If the teams are tied in total games after 5 events plus Overtime, a 7 out of 13 point Supertiebreaker will be played to determine the winner.
- Points are counted up from 0 to 5. A Game is reached by 5 Points leading 2 Points. At 4-all a Tiebreak 5 out of 9 will be played.
- A match ends if the leading team wins the 5th event. Otherwise the match will go into Overtime.
- The Overtime ends when the leading team makes a game or the trailing team ties up. In the last case a Supertiebreaker will be played.
- The Supertiebreaker is a 13-Point Tiebreaker.
- One player per event and per gender may be substituted by the coach at the conclusion of a point.
