Drei Stimmen aus Zimbabwe und ein klassisches Piano verbinden in dem Programm "MoZuluArt" W. A. Mozart mit der Musik & dem Tanz aus dem Süden Afrikas.
Die Premiere im ORF-Radiokulturhaus in Wien im April 04 klang derart vielversprechend, dass aus diesem ursprünglich versuchsweisem Zusammenspiel nun ein einzigartiges, welt(musik)-umspannendes Konzertprogramm entstand.

Den originalen Gesangsstücken der Zulu, Ndebele und Xhosa verleiht das Klavier eine ganz besondere Facette. Es gibt den Ton an und begleitet zugleich - schlicht und einfach.

Doch wie klingt Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART im charakteristischen Gesangstil der südafrikanischen Regionen? "MoZuluArt" ist eine Referenz an DEN österreichischen Komponisten. "Mit dem Projekt wollen wir unsere besondere Verbindung zu Österreich zum Ausdruck bringen. Deshalb hatten wir die Idee, W.A. Mozart in das südliche Afrika zu entführen", sind die in Wien lebenden Musiker überzeugt, dass sich der Komponist auch bei ihnen Zuhause sicher sehr wohl gefühlt hätte. Für die glänzenden mozart'schen Einfälle und musikalischen Harmonien sorgt Roland Guggenbichler, Lehrbeauftragter für Jazz-Piano am Franz-Schubert-Konservatorium in Wien und langjähriger Pianist von Kurt Ostbahn, Erika Pluhar, Hans Söllner, Rita Moreno und Hans Theessink.

RHYTHM & BLUES, FOLK, ROOTS ROCK and even some GOSPEL. It's one big JAMSESSION with an intensity that in no time sends the sparks flying over to the audience and keeps them electrified. When Zimbabwean singers Insingizi add their powerful voices the before mentioned roots are getting even more apparent and the show becomes a celebration of infectious "handmade" music.

Ramadu & The Afro-Vibes Band are eight excellent, professional freelance musicians brought together by Ramadu to play his music live in concerts. Ramadu´s music blends characteristics of Southern African Isicathamiya (a cappella man voices), African Makosa and Western popular music which some music lovers have described as Afro-rock with wings of Funk and Soul. Basically, Ramadu and his Band represent a new vision of African young culture, whereby the audience is treated with outstanding harmonies, enchanting sounds, groove and high-energetic dance choreography. Ramadu sings in his native language Ndebele. Besides common instruments like guitar, bass, keyboards and drums the band also plays traditional African instruments such as Djembe, Chekere, Juju shakers etc..!
