DANIEL

DANIEL! DANIEL! HE'S OUR MAN!
IF HE CAN'T DO IT, NOBODY CAN!

Put him in the lion's den,
See them run away from him.
Was he fearful? Not at all,
God was watching overall.

He would not become their feast,
He could tame those wild beasts.
Through the night he was locked in,
At dawn the king called to him.

"Come out, Daniel, if you're whole,
If your God has spared your soul."
And out he came. Thank you, God!
The king bowed down, over-awed.

Divine courage; divine strength,
God will go to any lengths.
To protect those who love him,
Righteous men that do not sin.

Daniel was a man like that,
He did good in God's behalf.
So God saved him in that den,
Hallelujah and Amen!

DANIEL! DANIEL! HE'S OUR MAN!
IF HE CAN'T DO IT, NOBODY CAN!

Daniel also refused to worship other gods. One time he was arrested for praying and was thrown into a den of hungry lions. God protected Daniel and he was not hurt by the lions.
