The APRS Telemetry Interface

The Power Supply

The system is powered by a small external power supply for 9-12V. You can use power from the PC too. A diode protects the system against reverse polarity. You can watch the internal 5V supply by the LED. Normal current is about 40mA.

If you want to use the watchdogs to control the PC you should not use the power from inside the PC.
