Carlo - The Skipper

Carlo, skipper responsible for sinking … ops… sorry, for conducting our boot during our sailing vacation!

Hi! I’m living in Germany for one and a half years now, until end of June and I will be 30 years old the week after our sailing trip.

I like cooking, friends, Marilena I was planning to write girls, but then I thought it could be dangerous for my life and the sea. I’ve spent my youth’s summer holidays at the sea and I can barely imagine my life without the sea.
I really love diving and I’m happy to know that at least two other member of our crew will be diving with me!!

Even if I don’t believe so, some say I have a strong character.
Nevertheless I can be very pushy for the things I think are right.

What will you hate of me? Well… usually holiday with me is not boring, definitely not … yet it can be somehow hard to catch up with me: most probably we won’t be stopping for a single minute during the whole week and I will always find out something new to do.
Some ancient friend of mine told me once: Carlo, this time with you has been great but now I’m happy you’re living and I will be sleeping for the next two weeks.

Well! No more prejudice on your future Captain and I wish you a good learning: some of you are learning Italian, some other sailing, some both Daniel arme sau, someone will also add some diving course.
The most important is: we have now less than 6 weeks left and everyone has to know his role at perfection and be able to give and take orders in Italian!

Sooo…. Go learning or you'll become food for fishes!

By the way, since everybody is doing this electronical id thing: I am 27 years young and I am italian...in the sense that my family has been in Sicily since 857 d.c., before that were just desert, pyramids and a lot of camels.

Hi crew, I am Marilena, or if you like, "The Marilena", I am the female part of the Carlo&Marilena company and the human part of the Marilena&Radler S.p.A.
If I have to describe briefly my self, well...I am a tiny cute pirate (child pirate, strictly speaking) : I am curious, funny and of course, I want to win every time.

I am pretty excited for being part of a pirate crew (Carlo, you promised the flag!!!) and I am sure it will be an unforgettable experience, most because I will control the rudder.

Hi Hanna, Hi Daniel, I have heart great things of you guys: if you are incredible 0.1 of what Sebastian is claiming we'll become suddenly friends...if not...Sebastian, start swimming!!!!

Hanna - The Captain

3 - 4 Zeilen werden zwar nicht reichen um alles zu beschreiben was ihr an mir hassen werdet, aber ich versuchs mal ; ))

I am Hanna, the Captain - ok, no! Next try:

I am Hanna. Still a student though I am old already (26) I think Sebastian could add something about that ... if I remember well last year (Carlo).
Prior my studies I used to be a horse Trainer for Western Horses and this is what I still do besides school to earn my money.
This is why Sebastians boss said I look like I do the shotput ... : )

Usually I am nice and calm - but sometimes not. don't worry, this happens to all women :P If I get to hyper, just tie my to the pole ;)
Otherwise I just love sailing, the boat and the sun so much - so I decided to come even if I am not gonna be the captain ; ) Oh, and I need coffee in the morning. Italian or German?

I expect from the trip nothing but everything, it's my first trip since two years so it's special anyways. On the other hand I am just fine traveling so the fact to be on a boat is almost enough (ok, sun, food, company would make it perfect ; ))

Alessandro - alla Radio ...canta... suona ...

Alessandro ... the "Mulinciana"

That’s what usually happens when you put a bounch of Alessandro, a little bit of Carlo, and some funny sweet super alcoholic together at the same table… But don’t worry, as rum and grog won’t be admitted on board, sailing should go slight and without any… accident!

Hi all, you euro-crew, I’m Alessandro, aka The Mulinciana or The Tail, and I’m very proud of being part of such an experienced and sailing skilled team… wich is the explanation for me to have accepted the role of radio-man: being sure, at least, that Mayday will be launched in the right way!

What about me? I’m cute, self confident, kind, I don’t smell bad, I have a lot of hairs… yes, and that was Matteo, my imaginary friend. Actually I’m the exact opposite of him: you can expect to learn a lot of bad words (“ma ficcassi” is Alessandro™), to find my falling hairs anyway on the yacht, to repair the mistakes I make during the navigation, and to continously avoid my “elfish” nose, that will try to beat you every time I turn my head!!!

Anyway, after all (and after the first day of friendship, during wich I will stress you with every kind of joke and acid remark, just to find your limit), you will find me a reliable and funny new friend! Enjoy me

Sebastian - Il Prodiere

Sebastian ... the Fockman, formerly also "Panzonello". Vorrei lodare lo sforzo nel cercare di esprimersi in italiano, cercando di evitare quanto di peggio imparato negli scorsi anni del tipo ma ficcassi ...

Io sono Sebastian, tedesco e 34 anni. Io lavoro a Siemens in Ratisbona.
Normalmente io sono molto tranquillo ma parlo molto :) ... povero il resto dell'equipaggio, pensate cosa vi aspetta...

Come Carlo mi piace fotografare, cucinare e mangiare.

Io non conosco molto di navigare a vela con un yacht ma ho navigato con barche piccole su laghi. :) Ho un' idea come funziona........

Io sono espettando una settimana molto ventoso (amo il vento, perche io sono dal norte di Germania) e tranquillo.

Daniel ... the third Buddy

Hi, I’m Daniel and a colleague of Sebastian.
I think I am the youngest crew member, 2 months younger than Hanna. well, Daniel, usually you shouldn't remark to a girl that she's older than you... am I right, Sebastian???

This is my first sailing trip, so far I only driven on motorboats, but I think it’s a great experience to be a member of your sailing crew and so I decided to come with you.
Sebastian make a lot advertising for it :).

I don’t know what you will be hating of me, perhaps that I am a morning grouch (Morgenmuffel) which is for the boat watch its not so good. But for one week it won’t be the problem (with Italian coffee :) )… and I don’t like to eat fish.

Perhaps the Italian fish is better than the German, I will taste it. don't worry, we will eat also for you :)

Laura ... la turista??

Hello everyone!

My name is Laura and I'm writing my resumee at last (the only reason why I'm doing it is that I'm afraid of Carlo, and I think you can understand why). Why???? If anyone knows the reason, just TALK! ... and you will be Food for Fishes ;) (or for the "Fischer")

I'm a PhD student and I like photografy and music.
I play the saxophone but I won't take it with me on the boat, so don't worry.

I'm staying with you for only a couple of days (I hate boss) believe me, you're not the only one... I know people resigning for that :P, so I hope you won't have enough time to find out my shortcomings, and of course I'm not going to talk about them!
