Bug reports and wish list of Tidex (last update 2001/10/18)

 Tidex bug reports   (I'm sorry to announce that!)

- Problem: Character + special character (&%...) + scrolling hangs up PV finally.
  Reason:  No idea at the moment, thats really tricky stuff.
  Help:    No other help than removing and reinserting the batteries.

- Problem: The '§' character is not properly processed at the indexing procedure.
  Reason:  The fabulous proprietary CASIO character set.
  Help:    At one of the next Tidex versions this character will also be included
           at the internal mapping table from CASIO to standard charset.

- Problem: The decompression procedure fails if scrolling upwards.
  Reason:  My fault :( there is a tricky bug at the cache control logic in
           connection with decompression algorithm.
  Help:    It just happens at compressed databases, that's why they are uncompressed
           at the moment.

- switch search during typing / search after typing
- main index line break
- configurable control codes (not fixed '|' & ',')
- copy to clipboard
- insert from clipboard
- multilingual menues
- greek and russian character sets
- integration of pictures in databases
- enhanced keyboard (with accentuated characters)
- Options dialog -> mount a specified tdx or mout last tdx
- new file system to get rid of CASIOs restrictions (max. number of files)
