Sometimes coverversions are better than the original versions, just have a listen to Bob Dylan's original versions and those countless coverversions around. Looking at The Doors' coverversions, it is quite different, because they usually miss the charisma of Jim's voice and that mystic feeling and the aura surrounding each Doors song. The following list of Doors cover versions certainly misses a few, but shows clearly how many different artists of all kinds of musical styles tried to interpretate one or two or even more Doors songs. I've listened to almost all of them - the ones I particularly liked are marked with a star like this *.
