Under the first impression of the magnificant tropical nature, numerous pictures were created showing the exceptional landscapes and the luxuriant vegetation of this continent. The glimpse under the surface, the increasing confrontation with the everyday life in the new world, the discovery of the familiar in the unknown led her to an intensive study of the inhabitants, their religion, culture and picture-language. The idea of a life after death and the existence of a Creator, both to be found in numerous mythologies and belief systems, moved into her focus of interest as well as the current events of our time. |

Like the world defines itself over continents, she nowadays creates
“picture continents”, in which different traditions and ideas exist
equivalently, side by side. The versatility of her work is indicative of this
world. The peaceful coexistence of the gods, worlds and people symbolizes her
wish: the harmonic coexistence of all people,
joined in reciprocal respect and tolerance. Using positive, esthetic projections, she tries to counterbalance the intolerance, to establish relationships between people of the world, to encourage a dialogue. She sees, experiences, explores and involves into her own thoughts. Dream and reality mingle and in conjunction with hidden messages, they create a surrealistically oriented, emotional area. |
