Cart racing. Fortunately (it was still raining), there was a roof above the race track:
Notice the sign "Indoor Kart", phew :-)
Our group (about 50 persons) was divided in groups of about ten. Each group had 5 minutes of qualification (the fastest round counted) and about 10 minutes of race. For me, cart racing is really a lot of fun...
Your author in pole position!

Missing the turn and blocking the track
Martin faster than Mika?!? Probably not.
After the cart race, we drove to a remote Almhütte (alpine hut) where it was time for dinner and the real bayrische Gaudi. The hut had a wonderful terrace with a magnificient view of the mountains but... ... it was still raining (I think that I wrote this before). So, we had to go inside. Upon entrance of the hut, everybody received his very very special "Munich, Swatch The Club event 2001" skin .beat. The watch is limited to only 120 pcs and on the inside of the glass, the words "MUNICH, SWATCH THE CLUB EVENT 2001" are engraved:
A great watch!
After a wonderful dinner, Ton introduced the staff from Swatch The Club to the audience and we all gave a big applause.

Afterwards, the music (typical bavarian) began to play, and it was time to dance:

The party was wonderful, a great athmosphere (maybe I'll add some more pictures later). Too bad that it had to end around midnight.
The buses took us back to our hotel in Munich. The next morning, most of the club members left early with the buses for the Modane event.
The Munich event was wonderful, great ideas of things to do, a great
watch, too bad that it never stopped raining...
Thanks to Sandra, Ton, Nicole, Patrick, and everybody else who made
this event possible.
