Billy Bragg Outline Discography

Second Edition November 1997

A second endeavour on a concise tabulation of mechanical transcriptions related to the musical opus and achievement of Steven William Bragg of Barking, Essex, spanning from its early communal manifestations to the solo works of the present day.

The original edition of this discography had been first published in August 1996. Basically a catalogue of my own small collection of records, information was added from various discographies, books and online sources (like Ron McBay's excellent work). Ten updates have been issued between October 1996 and November 1997. This second edition incorporates all information from the updates and features a revised structure and layout.

Entries are sorted (except for the Covers section) in chronological order, with Riff Raff releases positioned at the end of the Singles section. Foreign releases and reissues are grouped together with the original releases.
All items marked with an asterisk (*) are part of my own collection and data was derived by autopsy. Information provided on all other entries should be taken with appropriate caution.
The presentation of discographical data should be self-explanatory; if you have a specific question please feel free to contact me! I am always grateful for any corrections or additions you may have.

Updates will be issued in irregular intervals. Please subscribe here.
