Just two or three things about Cornelia
Do I have to point out that I love French culture?
Probably not. Having lived for 5 years in Paris, the city of light, I continue
to be a an addict of everything French. Someone said to me recently, no wonder.
You are a leo. Paris is le décor for a leo.
So, what do I love most?
When I come back there are les cafées I like to visit, just for the
memory-yes I am a very nostalgic and a romantic girl!- there is the food- oisters
and champaign pour moi s'îl vous plaît, the films I can see,- with Catherine
Deneuve- the books I buy, the friends I visit…
…et la chanson…once there was a very special lady who sang like nobody else…Barbara…
Now I am living in my own country, the Netherlands, and it is good to be back. But I still have those memories…la Seine when the night falls…a theatre….on stage a black piano…a woman with short hair appears, clothed in black…she sits behind the piano…her fingers caress the piano…and when she starts to sing her own songs…women start to cry….
What do I in life….mmmm…..
I am a touche à tout. That means I do several things at once, I like
to touch everything.
That is …in the arts! I started with painting. I made some videos, theatre,
scriptwriting, and currently I returned to an old passion: photography.

Like every Dutch citizen, I love my bike. In the summer I love to go on my bike early in the morning and visit the polders. It is something special, the cows near the small ditches, the fog hanging over the country, the small villages I cross.
I am not a high heels person, but on occasion I like to wear a beautiful dress, lower my eye lashes and be taller then I usually am. It is so much fun!
But I do not mind to be handy from time to time too. A woman can do (almost) everything. And she can be whomever she wants. In my modest opinion.
Strong and fragile, a diva or a mother, lover or child.
In my mind I am free.
But perhaps born I a country with freedom of speech, and working in the arts, it is easy to be like a bird flying on the currents of space.
Then, let me wish that you are a bird too!
And fly with me when you are reading the story of Béatrice.
