Dear readers and visitors

We finally managed to upload "Dare", the novella-sized epilogue to the short-lived Italian show "Terapia d'urgenza".

The show - having counted on more than one season - ended its first season on a cliffhanger that saw the resident lesbian doctor Marina getting gunned down in the parking lot after breaking up with Esther over closet issues. Since the series was canceled, this case of "lesbian parking lot trauma" was never resolved and Marina never got to make up with Esther. "Dare" is the story of what could have happened after the shooting, or what would have happened if I had been in charge of things.

As usual with my work, knowledge of the series is not required for reading (who is interested in the show can head over to http://aniklachev.wordpress.com and follow the tag "Marina/Esther" for recaps, dialog, video links and screenshots) - I hope you'll enjoy the story!

as always, best wishes,
hanibal & Anik

Var [title]

(working with variables & considering variations)

Var[title] was founded in 2000, as a part of the J/7 community. Over the years, we’ve hosted images, links and – most of all – fiction, be it fan fiction or Über/Original, J/7 or other.

Today, while J/7 continues to thrive, we both have continuously less time to keep up with the fandom, though we still try to maintain this website. hanibal spends most of her time on real life work by now and Anik has gone on to write other stories (and drab academic non-fiction). Still, for us this site is like a slice of home and happy student days and whenever there’s time, we try to add more stories.

We hope you enjoy your visit.

hanibal & Anik,

And, of course, we invite you to sign (and view) our guestbook.
