Callia
Second Foundation agent, and mistress to Lord Stettin of Kalgan, in which role
she helped to engineer the military confrontation with the First Foundation
which brought an end to the First Foundation's stagnation after the end of the
Mule's rule. She was also involved in passing information to Terminus, via
Arkady Darell, which misled the First Foundation into believing that the Second
Foundation was located on Terminus. (12-II-12,13,14)
Calvin, Susan

Century of Deviations
After the appearance of the Mule, whose mental powers enabled him rapidly to
conquer a large part of the Galaxy, the Seldon Plan was thrown into such
disarray that it took over a century for the Second Foundation to make the
Second Empire as envisaged by Seldon again a probability. It was the
near-complete disappearance of deviations from the Plan which alerted Stor
Gendibal to the fact that events were also being manipulated by Gaia. (13-5-18)
Channis, Bail
Member of the Second Foundation whose mind was reprogrammed as part of a plan to
trap the Mule into overconfidence, and into believing that the Second Foundation
was located on Rossem. Leading the life of an intelligent, ambitious and
successful playboy on Kalgan, Channis' mental powers were spotted by the Mule,
and he was sent with Han Pritcher to lead the Mule to the Second Foundation, but
the double-bluff went unnoticed until the Second Foundation's First Speaker was
able himself to condition the Mule into accepting their non-existence. (12-I)

Comporellon
Planet in the Sirius Sector, limited in resources and with a harsh climate,
colder than most inhabited worlds and on the edge of an ice age. An Associated
Power of the Foundation Federation, exercising a considerable degree of
independence. This was shown in its conservative attitude to morality and
superstition surrounding Earth, although a more liberal and sceptical approach
was tolerated among Comporellon's technocrats and academics. See Baleyworld.
(13-12-44; 14-II)
Compor, Munn Li
Originally from Smyrno, recruited as a child by the Second Foundation, who
trained him as an Observer. His mentalic training, though limited, helped ensure
success on Terminus, where he became a long-standing friend and confidante of
Golan Trevize, with whom he was elected to Terminus City Council as a result of
a political crisis over the location of the Foundation's capital. The
information on Trevize which he supplied to Mayor Harla Branno, and which helped
enable to arrest and exile Trevize, was part of a plan to manipulate Trevize
into going to Trantor hatched between himself and Stor Gendibal, who he had
informed of Trevize's exceptional intuitive abilities. Suspected by Branno of
being a Second Foundation agent, he was ordered by Branno to follow Trevize on
his exile in order to report on the doings of Trevize and his companion Janov
