Livian historian of the days of the Empire who attempted to deduce the location
of Earth from an analysis of known dates of settlement of worlds. This failed
partly because the dates were not known accurately enough, partly because of a
lack of co-operation from worlds which did not want their mythology questioned
and self-esteem destroyed, though in any case it was not known at that time that
there were two waves of colonization from Earth. It was not until Janov Pelorat
discovered the co-ordinates of the lost Spacer worlds on Melpomenia during Golan
Trevize's expedition in search of Earth that they were able successfully to

the time of Hari Seldon. His support for Seldon's research was invaluable in
securing Library facilities for the Encyclopedia Galactica project, and in
finding Terminus, the planet subsequently used as the home of the Foundation.
