G. violacea is a very small plant producing very unusual traps. It is as easy to grow as many Utricularia and flowers very easiliy. Like many Uricularia, Genlisea grows very big flower stalks. A 2cm sized plant easily produces a 15cm flower stalk. This plant from Stephan Ippenberger (many thanks!) is growing on the tray system together with my Nepenthes and does quite well.
