Nepenthes densiflora (Sumatra)

N. densiflora took some time to establish under my conditions. The left picture was taken in May 2002 immediately after I got this plant from Andreas Wistuba and the right one shows the same plant half a year later. Although not getting bigger in size it has developed much thicker and sturdier leafes and especially the tendrils have elongated much. Also pitchers are bigger and more colourful now. This change is due to the hard conditions I grow my plants under. Especially the very high light levels in full sun during summer is the reason for this change.
