Nepenthes ramispina x macfarlanei

I bought this plant as N. ramispina which it also clearly isn't. The seller told me it originates from Genting Highlands, the exact location is unknown to me. From the differences pointed out by Charles Clarke in his fantastic book "Nepenthes of Summatra and Peninsular Malaysia" I believe this plant is in fact a natural hybrid of N. gracillima and N. macfarlanei. It has some small hairs below its pitcher lid. This is a clear sign of the N. macfarlanei parentage according to Clarke.

Update 18.2.2004:

The Nepenthes ramispina x macfarlanei has been grwon quite well and produced a big pitcher around 20cm in height - I hope they won't get any bigger...

Nepenthes ramispina x ???

I obtained this plant as N. gracillima from Thomas Carow. It produces very dark coloured pitchers with a creamy white interiour under full sun. It is one of the clones Andreas Wistuba did sell some years ago as N. gracilima. The seed was collected on G. Ulu Kali where N. gracilima doesn't occur and so it can't be N. gracilima. The pitchers doesn't match any of the species growing there. So it has to be a hybrid of N. ramispiana with N. sanguinea and / or N. macfarlanei which both occur on G. Ulu Kali. I showed this plant Andreas and he told me that so many different complex hybrids occur on G. Ulu Kali that is impossible to tell the exact parentage of this plant.
