Different sized clones of N. gymnamphora are in cultivation. I still doubt this plant is a pure N. gymnamphora. The colouration and shape of the pitchers is not typical and shows many features one would expect from N. bongso. Assuming the mother plant was identified correct when the seed was collected chances are high that this plant is in fact N. gymnamphora x N. bongso.
This plant forms large lower pitchers sized about 15cm. It grows very well under standard highland conditions. Sadly my plant doesn't build upper pitchers although the climbing stem has reached 2m in length. According to C. Clarke in Nepenthes of Sumatra and Peninsular Malaysia this seems to be one of the typical characteristics of N. gymnamphora.

This pitcher belongs to another plant I got as N. gymnamphora. The colouration of this clone is very nice and quite different from the plant shown above. It grows at a typical growth rate for highland Nepenthes and so it won't be too long to see adult pitchers.

This still young N. gymnamphora has produced a slightly more mature looking pitcher showing some features of adult pitchers.
