The price for my slowest growing Nepenthes will propably go to
N. murudensis. The left picture shows the plant when I got it
out of TC with three growing points, but no visible roots that
time. The right picture was taken two years later. It shows
the biggest growing point after separating all three into
individual plants, which were quite easy to root.
N. murudensis likes very high light levels and grows
best in pure living Sphagnum moss for me. Well, best is still
very slow for me of course...
Update February 2003: Also under more typical highland conditions with lower night temperatures this plant doesn't speed up. It is still very slow. Although pitchers are very small in size only being 2-3cm big they colour up very nicely.
