This plant refused to pitcher for about one year. After moving it to a shadier position with higher humidity in my terrarium and totally ignoring it two nice pitchers were produced. The lower half of the hard to spot second pitcher is burried in the soil which is typical for this plant.
July 2003:
N. sibuyanensis is still difficult for me. From my experience it grows and pitchers best under lower light levels.

After four years of growth this N. sibuyanensis produced the first really nice looking pitcher. The tendril was deeply pressed into the soil and so initially I didn't expect a nice pitcher at all. The insertion of the tendril into the pitcher back really looks strange:

This plant is still quite slow under my more intermediate conditions, but pitchers are now looking fully adult and are getting much bigger. This pitcher is about 12cm high:
