WELCOME to the central part, to the heart of this homepage. Here, you can find all the results of my investigations. I think, it is no exaggeration when I say that this is the most complete accumulation of facts, figures, pictures and stories about the Ge(h)ran(dt)s. Of course, I'd never been able to collect all these information without the help of others. Special thanks to every member of our clan who told me stories or provided useful details, to every friendly priest or pastor and every archival who allowed me to study their (church) books or gave advise and to everybody else who supported this project. Many, many thanks.  

This database is in order to guard the privacy of persons still alive protected in two ways. First of all, you need a password to enter the database. I'll sent it via email if there is a request. Besides, all facts about the persons concerned except for the name are missing. I think you can understand those measures and agree to them. I wish you a good time visiting this database and some interesting and revealing discoveries.
