Lufthansa Bigband

The Lufthansa Bigband was created in the beginning of 2000 on the initiative of its drummer, and was formed by employees of mainly from the flying staff (Passage), but employees from other Lufthansa companies (Cargo, Technik, Systems, ...) took part as well.

I played trumpet in that bigband during my short assignment with Lufthansa Systems from October 2000 until March 2001. That time, we regularily met all two weeks on Friday evening near Frankfurt airport (just between the "cabin service dummies" in the building of "Lufthansa Flight Training"; the pictures above had also been made there) for rehearsals.
