Collegium musicum of the University of Karlsruhe

The Collegium musicum of the University of Karlsruhe is a symphony orchestra with a large complement. The orchestra is made up completely by amateurs and it is formed up by its members, who study at the various universities located at Karlsruhe (mainly the technical university, the polytechnical university, and the pedagogical university) as a students' ensemble. But also staff members of these universities, former students, and many friends of the orchestra and the music played by it, help to achieve the ensemble's success through their active cooperation and assistance. Hubert Heitz as conductor has the musical responsibility.
