DLR Jazzband

The DLR jazzband, which is also known as Dixieland Airways and Jazztronauts, is a dixieland jazz ensemble. It is mainly formed by active and former employes of the DLR in Cologne. The Band was established on April 17, 1979, by Konrad Berghausen, Wilfried Rickert, Günter Backhaus, and Felix Schaper. Since then, it appeared on various occations at Cologne-Porz as well as in the near and far surroundings.

Regular meetings take place once per week in order to practice and to have joy with jazz while drinking a beer. During my active time, the band was formed by following musicians:
