Plot: Situated in a small american suburb in the middle of the 1970s the virgin suicides tells the story about the five Lisbon sisters from the point of view of some neighbourhood boys. After the suicide of the youngest girl- Cecilia- the isolation of the remaining four becomes even worse: the parents try to keep them away from the rest of the world. But then Trip appears, and he achieves the unthinkable: the Lisbon girls are allowed to go the prom for the first (and last) time of their lives. Unfortunately, Trip and Lux get a little too close, and after that all four girls are locked away for good, the´re even taken out of school. The neighbour boys are no longer willing to watch the doomed sisters, so they think of a plan how to save them...
