Portable Festplatte verhindert Boot vorgang ????

Moin moin, folgendes problem: wenn ich meine portable festplatte ( WD Passport 60GB ) am rechner angeschlossen habe startet mein rechner nicht, sondern bleibt nach dem bios kramms bei nem schwarzen bildschirm hängen, im bios hab ich nichts gefunden von wegen booten und so ( board ASUS A7n8x-e deluxe ), kann mir jemand sagen wie der rechner auch mit angeschlossener festplatte hoch fährt !? was das problem ist !? mfg Torben D..
