The Search for Small

Still on the topic of Winnie-the-Pooh, I was reading The House at Pooh Corner on the train home today, and in the chapter "The Search for Small", I came up to a scene which I remember used to make me break out in laughter, out-loud laugher, which doesn't happen often in books, but it did and still does, plenty of times in this book.

I swear, I tried so hard...I kept a straight face, only giving out a hint of a smile, but I couldn't resist. I had to vent out my laughter, and a simple smile would not do. So there i was, sititng in the train, a 24 year old man reading a Winnie-the-Pooh book, laughing out loud, for the entertainment of my fellow passengers.

Even as I walked home half an hour afterwards, the memory of the scene visualized itself in my head and yet again, I was forced into a burst of "ha-HA!"

can I be anymore clear about this? you need to get this book!
