Wilmington
In Wilmington, North Carolina were 552 POW's in three different camps. One camp was located at the airport were the men worked at the airport. The other two where in town located on different sides of town and at a later date they where all put together and worked on flower and dairy farms. There is only one record of any POW dying in Wilmington, and he died due to blood poison from an accident. Two building that are still standing and must be repaired.
