FetchMap
This program allows to download maps from a web server using the PalmOS Net Library, so a connection to the Internet can be established with any interface provided by your PDA/PalmOS version. It works for example with a mobile phone attached via IrDA.
You just enter the center coordinates and scale of the desired map and tap the Download Map-button. The program will set up the connection, retrieve the map (as a GIF-file) and store it as a file stream database (i.e. PDB of the type 'DATA') or a regular file on external memory card (if supported).
FetchMap can be invoked by GPS4Palm to download maps according to the current position.
The map can also be loaded with an image viewer.
