The message of the association president
I congratulate the members of Maharlika for their successful 10th year anniversary of its founding. And I am so humbled to be the current elected association president of this group of professionals and compassionate people. We are proud to tell to everyone about our accomplishments to alleviate poverty in our country in our humble way.
The success of our group might have been overshadowed by the recent passing away of our most dearest member, Josie Backofen, however, we should continue what has been begun because she wanted us to do so. Let us accept the legacy from Josie Backofen – to be upright members of Maharlika and remain what we are or perhaps even much better because we simple love Josie and the Philippine Maharlika Folklore Tanzgruppe Kaiserslautern e. V.. We still have many things to do and projects to be made in the Philippines. So let’s keep working hard for many more years!
Again, congratulations and many Happy 10th-Year anniversary, Maharlika!
