Great Zero Calibration Markers

You don't have to search all the places in Ae'gura in order to find the GZCMs. With a bit of thinking and planning you are able to concentrate on the most likely locations for each of the GZCMs. Therefore, it is a good idea to start searching the GZCM which activates the display of the altitude (the right-most value in your KI). The altitude value will already give you a good idea of what places are possible locations for the remaining markers. (Note that there is a new Linking stone in "To D'ni" which you need to use before you are able to register this GZCM. There is more information about this Linking stone at the bottom of this page.)

Next, you should find the GZCM which activates the display of the distance (the middle value in your KI). This will allow you to further narrow the number of possible locations down.

Finally, after finding the third GZCM which activates the display of the angle (the left-most value in your KI), you have got a fully functional KI Positioning System (KIPS). Hence, it should not be that great a problem to find the fourth and last GZCM because you also have got a fairly good knowledge of the various places' positional numbers now.

If you still have problems to find a particular GZCM, you could have a peek at the following screenshots. Click on the pictures with the coordinates to view the location where the respective GZCM can be found.

The new Linking stone in "To D'ni"

The additional Linking stone that you need to find in order to access one of the GZCM is located in one of the Ages of Uru: Ages Beyond Myst. Here is a hint: Make a list of all the Ages and note in which of these you already found Linking stones. The Age where the new Linking stone can be found should be quite obvious from this list.
