Legend of the Holy Sword 2

Welcome to my Seiken Densetsu 2 page ^_^

Here you can find my Seiken Densetsu 2 improvement hack.

After getting out SD2 (known here as "Secret of Mana" - a stupid translation, it actually is "Legend of the Holy Sword") for some patch again and after playing some, I thought, "Why not do the same here as I already did with SD3?" So I went and started to look up all the palette info 'n' stuff neccessary for this. As it turns out, the palettes here are 15-color-palettes as well, but somewhat disorderly in their arrangement... the weapons are even worse, as they actually use 4-color-palettes - whee! >_<;;
Also, besides the base palettes for each character, there are several palettes for other stuff like charging up after an attack and poison. SD3 is much more advanced there, as it only has one base palette for each class, and for the different daytimes it just takes that one and calculates the neccessary changes, whereas SD2 uses extra palettes for everything ^_^;; Luckily there are only three characters in SD2 so that keeps it down somewhat. Here's how far I got by now:

• all three characters look better now, including all conditions:
• palette animation during charging up (while the counter counts to 100%)
• charging complete (when it goes "ping")
• poisoned
• first sword and first spear
