How a vampire is born? Vampires are
not able to reproduce themselves in the natural mortal way. The womb of
a female vampire is dead and male vampires do not produce sperm. The
only way a new vampire can be born is to transform a living human into
an undead.
In folktales there are many different and strange ways of becoming a
vampire:
-child is born as seventh son of a seventh son
-child isn`t baptized
-birth is on Newmoon
-conception is on certain holidays
-sinful life
-practise witchcraft and black magic
-violent death especially drown and suicide
-death by puerperal fever
-animal jumps across the dead body
-shadow falls upon the body
-brother of the dead is somnambulist
But at the end, there is only one true way to become a vampire: A
vampire has to give you the Immortal Kiss.
To create a new child of the night
is a very sophisticated art, which requires a lot of expierence. Many
candidats died during the attempts of their masters.
The master has to suck the blood of his child until it is very close to
death, but then in the moment when the light of life is blown out for
ever, the master feeds his child with his own blood. This blood causes
the transformation into a vampire.
Mortal parents transmit their genetical konstitution, abilities,
disposition and attributes to their children. The special vampiric
attributes and abilities are transmit to the new vampire by the blood of
the master. This is an important fact because there are many different
vampire-descension-lines with different attributes. And like in human
society, the social status of the master has influence on the
social status of the new child of the night.
It depends on the cirsumstances weather the new vampire experineces his
rebirth in ecstasy or in agony. For those who volunteer and are prepared,
who feel sympathy or even love for their master, the transfomration is
the climax of ecstasy.
But for those poor souls, who don`t know what happens to them, who
don`t even believe in the existence of vampires, the transformation is a
traumatic, raping act.
The childs moral, humanism and its mental attitude towards its vampiric
existence depends on the way the transformation is done.
Volunteers have a higher level of humanism and a more positive attitude
to the immortal life.
The physical and spiritual transformation of the human into a vampir
occurs during a deep sleep, the fangs are growing, the eyes are adapted
to see in the night, the skin gets this typical white marble-tone, the
whole body is transformed into an unreal beauty.
When the new vampire awakes, he looks into another world. His senses are
now so fine and sensitive, his perception has grown so emense, that this
new world is overwhelming. But the new child of the night hasn`t much
time for orientation, a very deep greediness of blood is stronger than
any feeling ever felt before. We call this the First Hunger. The First
Hunger is a critical moment for the young vampire. When his first victim
is an animal, he alterates into an inferior kind of vampire, a carouche.
Like parents in the mortal world, the master is responsible for the
action of his child in the first years. He has to teach his child in the
rules of vampire-society and in using his new vampire abilities.
When the child dares to break the rules of the society, the master has
the duty to kill his child.
Some masters may have a deep bonding to their children, others loose the
intereset in their creatures and abonden them.
