It
all depends on your interests and which activities you
would like to follow. For those of you who like cultural
activities will have to go to the National
Theatre and watch one or even more

the world wide famous Ndere
Troupe.

not only dance and entertainment to the people, but also using
the principles of typical African theatre. Theatre in Africa
is not only amusement, but also education and spreads important
information into the rural areas. The plays contain information
about environment, latest methods in agriculture, protection
against HIV/AIDS and many other topics that influence everybody
in Uganda. Especially Austria supports and sponsor the new
cultural centre of the Ndere Troup in Kampala where also children
can be trained in the traditional dances of Uganda.
For
those of you who prefer "moving pictures" will be
greatly entertained at cineplex where you can watch the latest
movies. Of course you will also find the right place to rent
a DVD or video for some home-entertainment.
Those
of you who love to go shopping,
will be excited about the many different ways to follow your
hobby. Ranging from small stalls, big fruit markets up to
the big shopping malls, you can find everything in Kampala
but also in smaller towns.

contains alot of possibilities. The first one can be another
way to learn more on a cultural basis. It's recommandable
to go and visit the historical tombs of the kings - called
the Kasubi Tombs.
The
tombs are the heritage
of the ancient kings and are a very important cultural monument
for the Baganda Kingdom. Therefore it is also a magnificant
attraction for tourists and place where you can learn much
more about the history of the kingdom and the so called Kabakas
(Kings) of Buganda.
