his word will remind you to Ndere - the name for the
famous Ndere Troupe. The troupe has
chosen this name as it represents a worldwide unity,
because in every culture, in every nation and in mostly
every tribe you will find flutes to provide people
with music. The Ndere Troupe was founded in 1986 and
represents strong cultural and educational messengers
around the world. The build a perfect bridge between
music and dance over to theatre. The have toured around
the world and also have been to Austria several times.
Other countries include Belgium, Netherlands, Germany,
Canada and Kenya. The instruments they use to accompany
their songs range from the amadinda to the endigidi
and the dances include the kizino (Bakiga), Ding Ding
(Acholi) and the Bakisimba (Buganda).
