Heliane Keller
allowed me to show her "foxy" bag. She describes it as
follows:
"I have finished
my bag now. It was planned as a hat, but as it turned out far too
small (a common beginner's mistake), I worked a bag out of it instead.
It is lined with a corduroy fabric to stabilize the whole thing
a bit. I decorated it on both sides of the flap with 2 wolf tails
(could also be fox) from a junk shop. The bag is closed with a big,
very old wooden button, pushed through a sewed on loop. The carrier
belt is made of a light leather tie that has been sewn to the sides
of the bag. "
Additional information:
Heliane has worked the bag from hand-spun wool of the white Moorland
sheep. For information about Moorland sheep's wool or information
about the area of the "Bergische Land", contact Heliane
