FoxGame
This is a collection of some simple games for children of all ages. They are:
-
Valentin:
You have to feed caterpillar Valentin until it it becomes a butterfly by
hitting the colored dots. Optionally you can choose not to allow to cross
the border of the field so that the game gets more difficult (and more similar
to its original Snake or Gnibbles).
-
Maze:
Find the way to the dot on the top left corner. Code for the generation of
the maze is from P.Horvai and D.Madore.
-
Memory:
Find the two matching pictures. If you want to change these rather strange paintings, you have to prepare better ones (easy, make them 100x100 pixel wide) and compile them into the program (less easy, but possible).
-
Tic Tac Toe:
Well, this shouldn't be difficult. The (rather poor) strategy of Tic Tac Toe was found on the net.
-
Master Mind:
Difficult to explain, but you likely know it anyway.
-
4 in a row:
Click to the penguins on top and the stones fall. The aim is to get four
stones in a row, be it vertical, horizontal or diagonal. The computer does
not play very clever (my own code), so you have a real chance to win.
-
Dice:
Add up the points on the dices.
Downloads:
This program was developed over the years and I more or less abandoned this project. If there are any comments at all, they are mostly German. Sorry. The language of the game descriptions can be changed by editing "diceval.h"
The source code contains a README for hints on compiling the program. Foxgame can be freely distributed under the terms of the Gnu General Public License.
