Cindy (Cinderella)
It was a long, long time ago or maybe just last week!
In a far, far away land or in your neighborhood.
No one really knows it! There lived a girl called Cindy.
Cindy lived with her parents in a big house in the city.
Her father was a wealthy man with a good occupation in the
fairytale central bank. So her life was filled with the best
things!
But one day, her mother felled sick, and when she felt that her
time had come, she called Cindy to her bedside. She said to
Cindy; “You must always be a good girl and all your dreams will
come true. Believe in yourself and you can do all that you want.
” After saying that, she closed her eyes and passed away
peacefully. Cindy would visit her mother’s grave everyday before
going to school. Then after a few years, her father married
another wife. This wife had two daughters of her own. At first,
all the children played together in harmony. But one day,
Cindy’s father had to go to another country because of his work.
Then, everything changed at her home and her stepmother and her
stepsisters showed their true colors. They would laugh at Cindy
and gave her dirty clothes to wear and she must do all the house
chores for them. She doesn’t have a comfortable room to live in
anymore because her stepsisters needed it for their abundance of
clothes. So she must sleep in a little chamber under the stairs.
Sometimes, she felt like that person from her new book
that she had read. But that person, who is known as “Parry Hotter”, was a wizard and she was only a normal girl.
Weeks after weeks had gone by. Then one day, the postman brought
the newspaper and on the first page under a commercial it read,
for Red Ex “We are on the right way” (it’s the delivery service
by the Little Red Riding Hood) and standing out in big bold blue
letters, “Fairytale-Idol”. It was a show where everybody can
participate and to present their special powers. The winner of
that show will be rich and famous all over the world.
So Cindy
saw a chance in that show to live another life without her
stepmother and her bad daughters. She asked her stepmother
whether she can go there but she only laughed and said,
“You Cindy? You don’t have special powers like my daughters;
they are so beautiful and lovely that all others say that the
girls’ looks are like supermodels except you Cindy!” She then
turned around and went to the door. Just as she was about to
leave the room, she told Cindy, “Cindy, you can go there if
you are able to build up your sisters new styling homepage in
one night”. It was so difficult to do and the show was on the
next day! The only thing that she had was the photos for that
page, but how is she going to build it up with so much text?
Cindy ran to her stepsisters PC and began to build up the
homepage. After an hour later, she had only the start site and
a little bit of text. But then, she had an idea and she opened
a chat room and told all the people there about her problems.
After a few minutes, many people started to assist her. So,
everyone started making the site and after 5 hours later, the
work was done!
On the next day, she showed the homepage to her stepsisters,
but they didn’t like the colors and the layout. So her stepmother
said, “Do it like your sisters told you and you can go to that
show”. But the show will begin in two hours and she will have to
go there on her bicycle because her stepmother and stepsisters
had left for the show by car. She was alone at home with so much
work and with only 1 hour to go before the show begins. She
opened the chat room again and her friends from the night before
helped her again. But by now, it was to late for her to dress
up and she also needs to ride her bicycle there too. So she ran
out and cried. But what was that? There was a soap bubble coming
closer and in it was her Fairy Godmother.
“What has happen my little girl?” she asked Cindy.
So Cindy related the whole incident to her. Then her Fairy
Godmother, who looked liked a designer, changed her dirty old
clothes into a new and beautiful evening gown by Gucci.
Her bicycle grew up and turned into a motorcycle, then into a
Smart, then into a VW Golf, then into an Audi TT and finally, it
was a big white limousine. “So Cindy, now hurry up and don’t be
late for the Fairytale-Idol but at 12.00 o’clock, all will be
gone and you will look just like before” said her Fairy Godmother
before disappearing. Cindy took her handbag with her cellphone,
keys and rode in the limousine to the show that may change her
whole life.
At 5 minutes before 6.00 p.m., she arrived at the Castle just in time before the show starts. At the front of the big door, there were all kinds of people; witches, fairies, wizards and dwarfs. They all looked at Cindy as she got out of the limousine. Then at exactly 6.00 p.m., the big door opened. All of them started going in and every one of them got a starting number for the show. But Cindy got the last number and she hoped that she can sing before midnight. There was a grand stage and in the front, was a table for the juries. The juries consist of the Queens of Hearts, the Prince and Merlin. Cindy was beginning to feel sick and nervous. Then, the spot light was turned on and the show started
At first, Rumple-Stilt-Skin was on the stage with his spinning-wheel and it spurned straws into gold. All the juries’ eyes turned big and the Queen had dollar signs in her eyes! When the Sleeping Beauty went up to the stage for her dance performance, Rumple-Stilt-Skin forgot about his spinning-wheel and as she was about to carry it away, she was pricked by the spindle and fell into her deep sleep.
So, the next performer was Prince Charming who wanted to show to his friend the Dragon, how to fight for the Princess. But the Dragon, which did not want to waste anytime, spited fire onto the Prince and it, ended up burning him. And so his show was over. But thank God that Merlin, who was among the juries, made some wonderful magical water and the put the flames out from the Prince who is now slightly burnt and wet!
Then two giants carried a big fish tank on to the stage.
In it was the little mermaid and she started to sing
with her wonderful voice. So all the fishes in the tank listened
to the beautiful sound but on the outside of the tank,
the juries only heard “Blub blub splish splash blub blub”.
Arielle, who knew what was happening, now she wished that she
could stay outside. That was when the bad seawitch saw her chance
and
changed the little mermaid into a girl, but what was that? As she was about
to start her melodies, no sound came out of her mouth because
she is now mute. What a pity!!!
It is now 11.45 p.m. and it was Cindy’s turn. With only 15 minutes remaining, the magic will soon be gone, so she started to sing and her voice was so beautiful that everybody looked up to her and everybody felt well and saved. Then the clock turned to midnight and Cindy ran out of the Castle, but the Price who was from the panel of juries wanted to follow her because she had won the contest. But Cindy ran so fast that her handbag fell down and her cell phone had landed on the stairs. Cindy, who could only manage to take her handbag, ran into the limousine and drove home as fast as she could. The only hint that the Prince now had was the cell phone.
So the next day, he started the search for that wonderful girl to tell her that she is the winner of the Fairytale-Idol. In the morning, the Prince whom had started the search for the girl; began to knock on every door. All the girls who opened the door must try to start the cell phone by the PIN code. But no girls knew the correct code and as the Prince arrived at the last house in that street, two girls opened the door. They were Cindy’s stepsisters and both of them tried to start the cell phone but they could not get it to work. As the Prince thought that he will never find that mysterious girl, he suddenly saw Cindy who was outside. He ran out to her and she keyed in the right PIN code.
The Prince then gave her the prize. It was a contract for music production! Cindy was so happy, that she went with the Prince to the production company. It was there where she made her first CD album. Now, she is rich and famous and all her problems are gone and if she is not dead, she will continue to make new songs and new CD albums.
