The grant for visual artists of the city of Hamburg recieved in 2001 was invested in a donkey. Based on the writings of Robert Louis Stevenson a hiking journey in collaboration with the donkey Clayde was made in the spring 2001 in southern france. The film is a documentation of the journey and a summary of the iconography of the donkey in the same time. (collaboration with Frank Luesing)
