The booklet was published in conjunction with the exhibition under the same heading in february 1999 in the gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki. It covers a wide range of subjects concerning the issue of public sculpture in a finnish context. Opinions about the most disputed public sculptures in Helsinki are included as well as rather absurd proposals for public monuments. On the last page the reader might find the answer to puzzling questions as »What makes a scultpure great ?« or why a stone is not necessarily a sculpture.
