Joy and Eternity ist eine von Paul Sketris geschriebene Sammlung von Gedanken und philosophischer Aphorismen. Auszüge dieser Arbeit wurden in das Lettische übersetzt und in einer dortigen Literaturzeitschrift veröffentlicht. Im November 2001 las Paul Sketris Auszüge seines Buches in der Stadtbibliothek Magdeburg. Neben dem gesprochenen Wort erklangen Lieder mit Texten von Nietzsche, Wang Wei und Goethe, die ebenfalls von ihm vorgetragen wurden.

Paul Sketris absolvierte die “University of Toronto” mit dem Abschluß “Bachelor” und “Master degree in Applied Science and Engineering”. Nachdem er einige Zeit als Chemieingeneur tätig war begann er Klassischen Gesang, wiederrum an der “University of Toronto”, zu studieren. Er schloß hier mit Diplom ab. Paul Sketris ist heute professioneller Opernsänger und lebt in Deutschland.
