Project 5 Increasing antenna gain with broadband reception A resonant antenna exhibits a much increased sensitivity compared with a non resonant one, but passive resonance is limited to a small frequency range only. Can a comparable gain with improvement of the signal/noise ratio for reception (similar to the resonant case) be obtained from an aperiodic antenna for a large frequency range by means of active electronics?
