kosmischer Nachbar bietet eine einzigartige Möglichkeit: Mit dem
kleinsten Fernrohr sind die Geschehnisse nachvollziehbar, die sich vor
fast 4 Milliarden Jahren überall im Sonnensystem ereignet haben. Das
Studium des Mondes erhellt auch die Entwicklungsgeschichte der Erde.
Vieles liegt klar ausgebreitet vor uns, manches erfordert einige
Vergleiche und Überlegung.
Die Wirkung der längst vergangenen
Einschläge größerer und kleinerer Körper wird besonders
augenscheinlich,
wenn wir eine Mondszene zeichnen. Das Auge wird zu den kleinsten
Details
gelenkt, welche das Instrument zu zeigen in der Lage ist.
