Follow the spirit of Saint Precarious!
Come to a procession in honour of the patron saint of the downtrodden in Cologne during World Youth Day 19 August 2005
It is not only Pope Benedict who is due to arrive in Cologne for the World Youth Day on 19 August. Together with 800.000 pilgrims, the followers of Saint Precarious will come to Cologne and summon a procession in honour of Saint Precarious, the patron saint of the downtrodden.
About the lore of Saint Precarious ...
Translated from Italian: "On 6 November 2004 the first national pilgrimage took place, gathering several thousand disciples in Rome. There, the first wonder in the spirit of Precarious took place: None of the devotees arriving from all parts of the country by train needed a ticket – TrenItalia had to back off their threat to fine the organised free riders. In Rome people went on a free shopping tour at the behest of the Saint..."
Also in Germany believers have been active in the spirit of Saint Precarious. During the last months they preached in Berlin and Hamburg, helping the poor and stranded to voluptuous dishes in five star restaurants. Protected by Saint Precarious his adherents gave clothing obtained from a well-known clothing chain to needy passers-by. Saint Precarious helped in many communities to fill empty stables and mansions with life again, resisting evictions and exclusion. Saint Precarious has also been standing by those coming from far away countries, letting them chose their bread freely without being committed to food vouchers. As a relief from their daily burdensome travels, the spirit of Saint Precarious ensured free travel for the destitute in the cities of Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden and Cologne in public transportation.

The disciples of Saint Precarious condemn the unfortunate deeds of the sanctimonious in the Church itself. How can a clerical association that claims to help the downtrodden go ahead and oppress them! "Woe to you legislators as well! You load people down with burdens difficult to bear, yet you yourselves refuse to touch the burdens with even one of your fingers!" (Lk 11,46) And the numbers of those who carry the lore of Precarious and his Struggle for Justice throughout the world only becomes greater and greater!
