On the tracks of the emigrants

Under the above title I have held a presentation on Oct 14, 2005 for the Historical Society in the inn "Mayer's Waldhorn" in Maehringen. In the meantime I have translated the presentation into English and converted into the PDF format (6,1 MB)

The German version is available as well (6,5 MB).

Booklet

From the great contributions I have received from my friends and cousins, being descendants of the emigrants, I have produced a multi-langual booklet consisting of two parts. The first part contains the greeting letters I have received over the last months. The second part contains stories about the life and experiences of the emigrants.

Here you can download your version of the booklet. The file is layouted for double-sided printout to be bound like a book. Due to licences reasons the usage of the document is limited for private use only!

Since the first version additonal descendants of the Haerten emigrants did deliver their parts and have been incorporated in the current version.
