Welcome to my Toy_Robot Collection. I hope that these pages will interest you in collecting Toy Robots. I have gotten all of the robots on the following pages from collectors, toy and flea markets in the North of Germany.

Collecting robots is not new. Production corresponds with  the ?Race to the Moon?, which started between 1950 and 1960. At this time robots were made of tin and this type of material allows us to determine the age, and year of production. Most robots are made in Asia. And can be classified by their type, material, type of drive, and action. The robots shown on the following pages are made of plastic, tin or both, and were manufactured after 1970.  Detailed information about my collection can be found on the following pages.  

Space operations !

With the advent of space operations - (Sputnik´57, Explorer 1´58, Wostok 1´61, , Mercury 6´62 and Gemini GT 3´65), as well as Apollo, and early science fiction found in literature and comic strips, beginning in the 1930s with Buck Rodgers (1928), Flash Gordon (1934), Dan Dare(1950), and movies such as ?Man on the Moon? and ?Man in Space? produced at Disney Studios, production of robots began. With that began collecting, which is what this web site is all about.
