The software suite "Crewing Agency" is developed for the staff management in the small to mid size crewing agencies. The Software keeps track of the recruited staff and the employees currently in expeditions. Also it keeps track of the employees work experience, black lists and features advanced additional lists of the staff information (education, visas, vessels, agencies, certificates etc.) Now it used in few crewing agencies of Ukraine, Russia, Montenegro and Kiribati.

Certificates List, Sea Going Experienc e, Remarks - the form which contains the list of required certificates; working experience of a seafarer as well as some other remarks

The main potentialities and advantages:

• Updating of the database (archive files) for seafarers (with explicit data - up to 50 fields, data structure)
• Request records keeping (also explicit).
• Automatic preparation and printing out of the Crew list.
• Upon insertion of a new seafarer - automatic check for his presence in the Black list.
• In order to keep and update all these files there are parallel tables (to be edited) for data storage about agencies, marine diplomas, positions, high and secondary educational institutions, vessels, countries, engine types, vessel types, issued visas, as well as black list.
• Recording of seafarers wages.
• Access limitation by means of password request in order to operate with the program.
• A capability of reserve copying of the whole database by means of the packing program as well as without it.
• Prompt set-up in accordance with different attributes and information about a company.
• All printed documents can be edited (without programmer involved), previewed and printed out.

Request Form The main request parameters are being inserted into this form, the required positions and correspondent  to them staff are selected in the table "Selected positions". The program selects automatically appropriate  candidates, taking into consideration their speciality, age and current employment.

 

 

Black List The form of black list can be sorted out in accordance with any of the first four fields (Name, Surname, Reason, Rank). New and old records (in Russian) can be automatically transliterated in  order to be compatible with the rest of program forms.

The Application form while in printing process operates with OLE automatic facilities of MS Word. Thus the obtained document can be previewed afterwards by MS Word editor.
